Development product introduction
For centuries, silk has been renowned for its ability to speed up wound healing and reduce pain, and was utilized as a therapeutic aid even when medical technology was in its infancy. In recent years, the composition of silk has been found to be similar to that of human skin, leading to efforts to harness its effectiveness in the cosmetics and food industries. However, the number of silkworm and mulberry farmers has been declining, making it increasingly difficult to source domestically produced silk.
This is where Gunma Prefecture steps in, with a factory dedicated to growing mulberry trees, aided by experienced sericulture farmers. In the pristine mountain environment of Gunma, silkworms are raised without pesticides and with a great deal of care, time, and love.
Kaikensui® Ciel Pure Anne is made from this silk, carefully extracting its valuable components. The extract includes water and hot spring water ideal for cosmetics, as well as substances that promote the growth of lactic acid bacteria, which are beneficial to the skin’s natural bacteria. No preservatives, antioxidants, ethanol, or other chemicals are used in the manufacturing process, making it a safe and natural choice for people with skin problems, babies, and those with dry skin.
